This subject, what I call the "baby pine cone" is a dear subject to me for, a few years ago I photograph of a similar subject won me first prize and a special award at the Mille Lacs County Fair. In fact I only lost out for the grand prize to a four foot square painting. My 8" x 10" didn't stand a chance as "a good big 'un allus beats a good little 'un". As we like to say back home. Still It's a great subject that I'm sure I will revisit many more times.
